Our Story

We first discovered the magic of sourdough in 2013, and have since been perfecting and exploring its use, as well as researching its many benefits.  Our wholemeal starter is a live culture of flour and water that ferments and cultivates the natural yeasts found in our environment.  This fermentation process helps break down the proteins and sugars in the flour, making it more digestible and nutritious, with texture and flavour far superior to that of yeasted bread.

All of our products are 100% sourdough, we do not use commercial yeast.  Every loaf is gently mixed by hand using traditional methods, then cold proofed for around 18 hours to allow the fermentation process to work.  The use of sourdough is not only limited to bread, we use slow fermentation at home for pizzas, waffles, cakes and pastries...... the possibilities are endless.

All our bread is available by pick up only from Leeming, WA.  Once your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email with details for collecting your purchase between 3 pm and 6 pm on your selected day.
